Rule 22
Code of Conduct for Physicians

(1) The code of conduct of registered medical practitioners towards patients and family members of patients shall be as follows:-
(A) To diagnose and treat the disease according to his wisdom and ability (b) not to obtain any other financial benefits directly or indirectly in an unfair manner except for reasonable wages, medicines and reasonable expenses of goods and equipment,
(c) If he feels that he is unable to treat a disease with his own strength, knowledge, skill and experience, he should consult a specialist as far as is available and clearly advise the treating patient or the reliable members of the patient's family that the patient should be treated by a specialist as far as possible considering the condition. Giving or recommending to institutions like hospitals,
(d) To inform the patient or his family members about the seriousness of the disease if deemed appropriate, but not to make the minor illness serious for financial or any other purpose.
(e) Not to deprive the patient treated by him of his treatment except in the following cases:-
(1) If the Government: refuses to pay the prescribed wages,
(2) If he does not take the prescribed medicine even when he is told about the harm caused by not taking medicine, (3) if he pressures the doctor to prescribe unnecessary medicines or forces him to prescribe them.
(4) If he tries to make himself do immoral work in any way.
(5) If you try to treat a disease beyond your capacity,
(6) If the doctor himself is unwell. (f) If it is known that the patient needs equal care because of a serious illness, then if he can find such a doctor even in his absence, he should inform the family members or the caregivers in detail so that he can inform himself if necessary. Leave only by telling the possible places to stay,
(g) Treating diseases and those who care for the sick with courtesy and not neglecting or hesitating in diagnosis and treatment as far as their knowledge, wisdom and experience reach,
(h) not to give a false certificate of sickness or health to anyone, not to give evidence or statement to bear false witness for or against anyone,
(i) Not to disclose any confidential matters related to the patient, except what is required to be disclosed according to the law by the court order,
(j) Not to have an abortion in other cases except for health reasons, even if there is a health reason, after taking the opinion of another doctor, in his opinion, if the pregnant woman's life is in danger or the unborn child is likely to be disabled, or the mental balance of the pregnant woman is likely to be disturbed, there is an opinion. Abortion will be done only if there is, but it will not be considered as having the right to do anything against the law.
(k) In the event of an accident during the course of any treatment, if it is possible to get the services of another expert who will save the patient's life or limb with his best efforts and wisdom, then take his help and treat the patient in that situation as much as possible,
(T1) To complete the continuous business process as prescribed by the Council,
(l) Do not treat patients who have taken intoxicants or narcotic drugs.
(2) The code of conduct for the cooperative of registered physicians shall be as follows:-
(a) Not to harass or insult his colleagues by words or any other behavior,
(b) For the purpose of promoting his name or earning money, he shall not write anything other than his name, degree, diploma and position on any identity board or pad, but he has written a book and that book is not intended for general public but only for doctors or related persons. If it is written, there will be no obstacle to write any other titles in that book.
(c) Not to take habitual medicine by oneself and not to take it as much as possible so that co-workers and others also become habitual,
(D) Not to help unqualified persons to treat or provide treatment or work related to it, D1) If their co-workers do any work that is against the code of conduct, the same should be reported to the Council,
(e) Not to act as an agent directly or indirectly to bring patients to him for a share of his salary.
